I had an Aerox with a 21mm carb. It went ok. I may get shot down on this, but unless your bike is set up for drag racing and tuned within an inch (25mm) of its life, I don't think you would notice much difference between 19mm and 21mm.....

At the end of the day, a different carb will be an improvement over the stock one.

when you say drag racing what kind of setup do you mean?
am also gonna install an mhr exhaust, delta clutch, variator over range, mhr reedblock but not crankshaft.

I was just giving an example. I don't think you would notice much difference with a "general use" bike.

I got a 21, because it would have been easier to sell on if I ended up blowing my engine. They are more popular.

i own a mbk nitro with a polini corsa kit equivalent to the mhr replica and i'm running a 17.5 mm carb with a 98 main jet and its quick!!! with stock manifold but carbon reeds!! But the 21 mm is a good option if you are going for a big valve kit with 4 reeds or even better the v-force block 6 reeds!!! and btw i'm runnig a polini 4 race exhaust that matches the cylinder !!! very nice setup about 13 bhp!!!

the corsa and the mhr rep make similar power but are nothing aloke.. its DEFINATLY not an equivalant. there are similar power gains but malossi and polini dont really make any barrels that are similar other than the iron kit. just means theres more choice between the companys. im sure they have arranged it this way

    Re:

I ran an MHR-rep kit on my Runner for 9 months with a Laser x-pro, and i thought it was fast,

i weigh about 13 and a half stone and easily left all the sport 70 scooters behind with much lighter 16 yr old riders....but!!!

Then i fitted a Yasuni C16....and i couldnt beleive how much more faster it was, nearly shat my self the 1st time i came to a junction between 2 cars in the rush hour and whacked her open from walking pace....and nearly flipped it :w00t:
