hi all im wanting some reliability so i was thinking about sourcing a 210 runner engine and putting it in my runner 50 frame? at the moment i have a 125 engine with 172 bore but its 2 stroke and i fancy some reliability but also steady speed? anyone done this before if so what would i need if its do able? also rough cost thanks joe
210 = fail. they are prone a die as the bore is just too big and have 0 reliability if you want some real reliability use a 100% stock bike
i think im gonna stick with my 125 but buy a new ngf 172 kit for it as the ngf kit on it now looks as if its had its day
why are you knocking alot of speed of what the clock says? i done a test on my runner and at me doing 85 my friend in his car was reading 83 so its not the 10-15mph out that your suggesting i also did it with another friend in his golf which read 84 when i was doing 86
50cc clocks are celebrated to 30mph only. over 50cc are celebrated to 70mph. there not supposed to go any faster so they would the makers pay to celebrate past that point, i know you think its not out by a lot but they really are. my old NRG power did 74 on stock gearing with digital clocks? the stock piaggio gearing runs out at 65.
i know its no out a lot because ive compared it to 2 cars and another bike thats how i can say its a fact that i know because ive done it lol
I think the word you are looking for is calibrate, unless you really want to "celebrate good times c'mon" in a disco stylee
ngf are terrible, from what I've seen I wouldn't use them as a ashtray letalone on my bike. A 200 etc wouldn't work. 1. they're unreliable, 2 they use a totally different wiring loom, 3, frame would have to be modified due to how they mount and the use a dual shock on the rear, also, why don't you stop being a tight bastard and just buy a 125 four stroke.
