Hi guys, first visit, first post. Did a search and couldn't find anything on this already posted.

I just bought a Lance Cabo (used with 3k mi), and within the first couple days I'm noticing a clicking noise coming from the front end. Almost sounds like motor or plug ping, but definitely seems to be coming from the front wheel area so I'm thinking something with the shocks, brakes or bearings.

I really have no experience with these things, so I'm hoping it's a common issue someone may be able to point me in some direction on where to start looking.

    1. Clicking/pinging from the front end.

    2. Does it randomly, whether throttle is on or not, and even on smooth surfaces.

I appreciate any advise anyone can give on where to start looking. Thanks in advance!

Never even heard of those before, guessing its an electric scooter?
Bearings sometimes click. Lift up the front wheel and roll it with your hand feeling for tight spots etc

Haha just realized this is a UK board. Maybe they don't sell them over there. I guess Lance is out of California and partnered with SYM out of Taiwan. The Cabo is kind of an off-road on-road scooter. I have the 125cc version, goes about 60 mph on the street.

    Ahh OK.
But yeah like I said, put it on the center stand, lift the front wheel up a bit and feel it with your hand.
Check the mudguard bolts are all still in place too. Could be that.
