what SILENT exhaust you’d recommend for the 2005 Piaggio Et4 125cc? Budget is £110 and if possible something easy to install as I’m not very handy nor have lots of tools.

If I can gain any speed that would be very welcome but I’d like to keep the sound down.

I’m looking at eBay and online and price starts around 80 quid, do you know if it’s worth spending an extra £30 to get better quality and some minor performance improvement?

Thanks, and I need to replace the exhaust or it won’t pass mot.

For your budget you'll have to buy the std aftermarket pipe, you won't get any noticeable performance gains.

Thanks, at what price and what performance would I get?

I found one from PM Tuning at £264 but it’s apparently louder than stock, and draws too much attention, I live in Islington and I couldn’t find one insurer willing to give me a quote for the Vespa as it’s a high theft area, so not looking for a flashy pipe.

Would anyone know if it worth buying the tecnigas over the standard one?

    £75 - Standard
    £103 - TECNIGAS Maxi 4

I personally always choose aftermarket pipes, standard pipes tend to be lower quality.

thanks, I think I'll buy the tecnigas, do you know if I'd be able to swap pipes at home without lifting the scooter?

Yeah just put it on the centre stand, your head bolts might snap though
