2005 Gilera Runner VX125 Engine Bush (Old shape)

Alright mandem

I have bought a runner 125vx and when its on the centre stand and you shake the bike around the bike shakes quite alot but the engine remains still.

also when you take it off centre stand and when i apply front brake and rev it up the engine looks like its pushing forward and twisting to the left

Im i correct to say that it is the silent block? because i checked it and it has quite alot of cracks?

i had that exact same prob with mine before mehmet and it turnt out to be the nut which goes on the bolt threw part of frame below the foot pegs had come out and put it on and it was good as new. gimme a ring tomorow or sumfin and ill have a look if u want?

 

thats fucked engine mounts. not cheap

mine done that and all it was only a nut, could be same for mehmets. No point buyin mounts if its not that just check what i said first then go from there i recon

 

well when u got to take the engine mount out you will see lol. not a common problem for random nuts to be missing though :lol:

the mounts on your 200 were fucked anyway so it must have felt better changing the nut :lol:

 

there was nothing wrong with the mounts on it. And its better me telling him that and checking one nut rather than wasting money on sumfin he might not need to change isnt it?

 

the mounts on that 200 were fucked. the first thing i said to mehmet. i have had enough 200s to know the difference.

the front end was shit as well. quite dodgy in fact. you might not know the difference if you havent ridden a decent one :thumbsup:

 

well i rode urs if u remember so urs cudnt have been a decent one either then ehh?
if they were fucked why did it pass its mot. U can ask mehmet and connor urself and they tell u that they wernt fucked and there was nothing wrong with the front end.

 

all i remember was that was the fastest 200 ive ever rode or seen.

 

lol every bike ive had seems to be fast for what it is for some reason

 

lol well the 200 still going stong so looks promising, only one blew up and that was my old 172 engine but when the bearings where going it was the fastest bike i ever rode lol

i dont care what you lot say the mounts were well gone and the steering didnt even feel straight. maybe to do with all the wheelies,

my green runner was pushing 55000kms and hadnt had the mounts done for ages so i think it deserved to run a little shit :mrgreen:

 

u wouldnt be saying that if u still had it ur just trying to make it look like uve proved me wrong lol but ohwell its gone now and there nuffin wrong with the new bike so its all good.

 

the mounts on my green runner were stil better then that other 200, 55000 kms or not :mrgreen:
