Hi guys and girls please can you help me with working out the hoses on my carb please, didn’t come with any of it connected and don’t want to get it wrong cheers
Can't see carb that well but in general the fuel will be the largest brass pipe fitting and smaller one will be vacuum for fuel tap Both rubber pipes should be different sizes, internally from one photo looks like oil injection pipe is already on
Thanks for the reply, I had no pipes connected so uploaded some more pics to see if it’s clearer. It’s a Minarelli branded one if that helps?
Looked on my old Yamaha Neos which is same setup but different carb The pipe fittings look the same 1 vacuum for petrol tap 2 air vent for float chamber 3 oil injection pipe 4 fuel in best way to start is to connect 3 and use a piece of pipe for 1 to connect to fuel tap so you can suck on it to check if tap opens and fuel runs out of larger pipe If ok connect 4 to carb and suck on 1 to see if carb fills and does not flood If all well give it a start Make sure oil tank has oil in it
Excellent, thank you!! I have two pipes coming out of my fuel tank, should they be connected with a tee piece and then one pipe to the fuel inlet?
no one should be fuel the other vacuum smaller one vacuum larger fuel if you suck small one fuel should come out large one
