I have bought a 2003 Gilera vrx200 runner and I have found the rear wheel hub is loose on the shaft splines, how can I fix this it seems the nut does not tighten up enough on the shaft

Try another thick washer, or maybe you need a new hub or shaft or both.

those washers have an outside and an inside by the way, but yeah sounds like you need a washer unless the bearin is gone?

I put in another washer and pulled the nut up tight this has taken the slop out of the wheel, so it might be the answer
