Right: ive always run my ped on texaco 2 stroke oil, and last night i bought some £3 oil from the garage, now i dont want to kill my bike, so shall i just run the rest of this oil out and then get the oil i normally get?

My bike should be fine though yeah?

    Cheers,

Stock? If so, yes, it should. Wouldn't recommend cheapo oil though, for a multitude or reasons.

only warrant expensive oil for highly tuned enjins

we've been running a ZIP spPolini iron 70 kit on Husquvana chain saw 2 stroke for the last 2 years without any issues. Its £20 for 5 litres and designed to run to excess of 20,000rpm...way more than normal ped use...and it doesn't smoke any more than usual peds. The last time the head was off, we checked everything out and there were no wear above normal tolerances
