Assuming you mean the oil mixture Open the transmission case and it will be in the bottom left hand corner. Yo y may need to remove the variator and belt to gain access. The oil pump is located there and unscrew to get more oil out of the pump
Is it a little screw where the 2 stroke pipe goes from the tank into the carb? near a little thing that pulls your revs back down pal?
http://www.scootershack.co.uk/the-w...w-the-name-t22979.html?hilit=oil pump#p236005 I know this is for a 50cc but its located in the same place as the 125. You need to take the transmission side casing off. The oil pump is located there. You should see 2 pipes running from it. One from the tank to the pump and another thinner one from the pump to the carb
No, not just yet anyway, ive been told it needs turning down because i can see 2 stroke dribbling down my exhaust and when i start it up it smokes quite abit and when i go full throttle for about 10 seconds it does aswell so i think it needs turning down abit or should i leave it where it is to avoid any damage to the cylinder
seems quite strange that the pump has been adjusted unless it had a 172 kit fitted before and now has now been replaced by a 125 barrel. Do you know if this is the case
No unless its just the exhaust lol its off my mates skipper that he broke down which was 16 years old and that smoked alot! it could just be a build up of shitty 2 stroke in the exhaust because its 16 years old lol
if the old bike smoked a lot then that may be possible, make sure you run it on some good quality fully sythetic 2 stroke oil like Putoline and take it for a blast to try and blow it all out. Like a long A road
Been using carlube lol aparantly its good and will it not to any damage ive been using semi syntheic? also whats the difference between fully and semi synthetic?
I can't give you the exact science all I was told when I first got a scoot at the tender age of 16/17 was to always run fully synthetic. The garage I used to use they said (of course they would be cause they were selling it) to use FS because they know bikes to seize. I would say semi is fine for now until you run out and if your bike is untuned but best to use the good stuff. It ain't cheap though but cheaper than seizure i guess
