hi everyone =-] i want to put a sound system and neons on my bike but dont wanna run it off my scooter battery so i was thinking of putting in a second battery under the seat under the sound system out of sight. but i also want it to be charged like the normal battery now i presume i just connect it up to the rectifier but im worried about current flowing back and blowing up the rectifier or possibly sending 12v to the other battery giving it 24v and blowing the fuse how can i run 2 seperate batterys and still charge them both without damage thanks
Id say make a case for the battery under the seat out of MDF or something it doesnt matter about build really becuase no one will see it lol and just switch the batterys every now and again thats all i can think of unless if you use the battery and just use your kickstart when the battery is too flat
wich the stator wont charge..... if your running electrical modifications make sure you plan around the output of the stator... if its daytime use only you can nick the watt's usually used by the lights (gives you a littler more) but these are NOT made for silly things like n eons a million lights or under seat stereo's... again, just get a car or ride your bike.. music when you ride? is your bike THAT boring?
