Hi dumb question but i've only been biking for a week so i am quite dumb at the moment. The time has come to give my scoot it's first wash and i was just wondering something??? Do i hose it down all over or sponge it and is their any areas where i shouldn't get water?? e.g. i'm worried about getting tpoo much water over display and twist grip areas in case it causes damage???
You dont need to worry about the first wash, remember your first wash how your mum help you clean yourself  . yer so anyways just id spunge it and clean it all then go over with a hose just dont point at the carb or in the engine lol use your common sence and your be fine.
if its stock its that huge grey box sitting ontop of your engine if you have an aftermarket airfilter thats it
as the others say...just be careful around the intakes These things are designed to be ridden in the wet so are fairly waterproof
haha is it fuck true everyone uses fairly liquid i think hes trying to play with out minds he didnt say fairy corrodes only that it contains salt and salt corrodes hes not kidding me on
I thought everyone knows washing up liquid fucks your car/scoot up :msn1: not only has it got salt in it, but it also strips away the protective oils/waxes from your paint work arc:
nice to no . and dave please paint that back wheel bikes goergouse but grey wheel drives me potty lol
