Hey, I'm going to get the BGM Evolution 2 stroker crank for my 172cc MBK Booster. The crank comes with the needed 5mm spacer, but the question is, will i need anything else, other than the crank and the spacer? Or is there anything else i might need to know about this mod?
the 5mm spacer is for the 110 conrod, use the 105 conrod to keep it simple, then ether fit a bottom spacer @3mm to ether the bottom of the barrel and drop the ports, or at the top of the engine and leave the ports alone get a few gasgets so you can get it all just right (around 1mm squish is good, you can go down to .9mm or in some applications .8 but i wouldnt on a road bike, altho other people run squish silly tight so the piston is prettymuch nocking on the head)
Sadly Scooter-center does not sell a 55 stroke and 105 conrod version, so i will have to go with 110 conrod. So with the 110 conrod i will need to fit the 5mm spacer, then get an extra 3mm spacer to clear the piston from hitting the head?
yep, and i have no idea why they no longer have the 105 conrod's in... maybe pm bought them all to save making there own shit.. top racing 55 is identical if you cat find one... but tbh, the 55's are overrated. 54/52 make better power ported and last longer.. i can dig out a 105 conrod 55 online im sure if you need one
