basically ive blown the last bore , the piston was fucked and sleave was knacked . so ive ordered a brand new malossi kit with malossi head crank berrings and seals , but what i need to know is will a un ported malossi barrel and head run fine with my 28mm carb 54mm mazza crank and flowed cases and pm 59 pipe. obviously may need to change jetting. ware would be a good jet size to start with a 28mm carb. cheers

if it is running a 54mm crank the barrel is going to need correcting to work with the 54mm stroke.

port botom edges will be too high. doubt it was done in the first place tho. it will run stock but will be down on piwer. can match them yourself to the cases by cutting the new gasget an placing it on the new barrewl...orts are no amature task tho

(yes im verry drunk while posting.. i dont care)

basicallly ive rebuilt the engine with a 52mm bgm crank and standard malossi 172 kit and head, the bike is running a pm 59 pipe . standard clutch with blue springs, gear up , reeds , flowed cases , but my question now is ive got a 28mm carb with airfilter , what would be a good jet to start with for this setup , and what size rollers should i put in now or start off with.

leave it as is and see how iot rides.. jetting wont be far off tbh, its more of the same mixture with a 172 usually so the jetting stays pritty steady with bore/stroke changes.
