172 kit

    Will this malossi 172 kit fit my bike and it i have 2 buy a crank etc for this kit???

    yes and it is advised if you are going for a big power increase.

    if youre just getting the 172 then it wont be needed but if youre going for 25mm carb, pm pipe etc... i would do.

    there isnt many types of 172 kits i dont believe.



    just one i think(correct me if im wrong)


    and compared to 70 kits 172's are quite relaxed kits..so your crank will be fine with just a 172 exhaust and bigger carb or similar setup :nerd:

    i would do the bottom end unless you know its history.

    as jamie said, the 172 isnt as highly strung as the race 70 kits therefore can be run on a standard crank.

    personally i would go for the whole setup (55mm crank etc...)

    plus with a 55 mil crank it becomes a 183 rather than a 172


    plus youll have that peace of mond that your bottom end is bulletproof.

    yeah i dont mind puttin a better crank on but its the fing me getting someone 2 do it bcoz all the bike shops near me are expensive

    the 183 does require some port work though to stop it killing the piston

    i thouht it just needed plates to seperate the cylidner from the casings a bit more?

    all i know it that the milage on it is 25780km

    agreed lol, thats a bit too high for you too keep old crank in there

    :D kk i will order the malossi 172 bore kit and the crank etc just b4 christmas then.
    can anyone here be able 2 fit dat stuff for me and ill pay dem??? :emb:
