arc: dont expect people to write a fucking list of what you need. go and do the research yourself, if you dont know what is needed for a 172 conversion to a 50cc bike then you should not be doing the conversion in the first place.
i know the basics like sub frame, and cdi etc just wanted to know what responce id get. and dont give me the 'you cant do' bullshit because ive done most things to a bike mate, come back when u got a bit more to say.
thanks mate. theres some right fucking assholes and i mean assholes on this forum.. where the fuck did half of you start out? you dont know automatically..
erm..yeh i think ive got a bit more to say. do the research, theres is a well built aerox 172 on this site. look at the project page for it.
Malossi 172cc kit Dell'Orto 25mm Carb (best match for the standard reed window anyway although gains and losses are present with any other carb fitted) Gear up kit Aftermarket Carbon Reeds Piaggio 180cc variator (Malossi MHR if you're looking to take things further) Aftermarket Exhaust (matched stub goes without saying but is ALWAYS forgotten by amateurs) Aftermarket Stronger Clutch Springs Malossi straight inlet manifold Stronger Aftermarket Reeds Malossi CDI swap/similar timing advance Aftermarket Crank (BGM or Malossi) New bearings obviously (although stock fitment bearings are good for 40+bhp and last longer than c4's... Also they rarely rev past 10k) Malossi MHR or Polini Evo Reedblock (you can mod the stock to the same level as the Malossi or Polini item) Bigger carb http://www.scootershack.co.uk/125tuningguide.html does help if you search too
this site is full of everything you could need to know for the conversion, there is already two going on rite now
yeh i know ive read topics but theres not really a run down on how you do the actual conversion, its alright sayin what you need, but fitting is a different question. sorry if i asked to much i better think twice before i post such a intrusive fucking question again.
no ones got time to sit and explain every nut and bolt to change an engine over... As you said all the info is on this forum on what you need to do the conversion.. if you cant work the rest out for yourself....maybe you should leave well alone
