Does the 125 mount fit in the 50 frame instead of cutting the 50 1 down?

or does the 50 1 HAVE to be cut down :)

    Thanks, Ryan

you can just cut the 50 mount down which will be easier but i have seen a 125 linkage in a 50 so yeh it can be done but you then gotta well a hook onto the frame so the sring can be attached to the arm an frame

125 mount wont do as there is nothing to connect spring to on frame from mount.

bit thick i am so do you just shave the mounts on the 180 engine then as to fit the mount on the scoot?

no the mount on the frame needs about 5mm or less takin off the left hand side, try not to take it off the R/H side or the engine will sit out of line with the bike/front wheel

yes, verry simple, then you need a diff throttle cable, diff rad (if atall) totally rewire the bike (ye every plug clock fitting and bulb usually) then get it all to fit in whatever frame your converting so yes, if you live on a councik estate and want a ped this is a quick mod, if however you intend on using this bike on the ROAD after an MOT then no its not just a 5mm cut and its done

not forgetting new shock or modding the 50 one and new rear brake hose/cable (usually, not always)

its like with cars, anyone can rip a 1.0 litre engine out and manage to wedge a 2.5 turbo in the gap thats left, but that doesnt mean its gonna do anything, getting the engine in place is only half the problem.

out of interest if you have the splitter on the throttle cable and you have the carb end of the cable, do you still need to replace the whole thing or can you get away with using the original ?
