I just blew my 172. I was riding down the road and then it just went silent as I coasted to a stop. I bought this runner a few months ago and its been amazing. I was lucky as hell to find this bike in the states, plus the guy I bought it from put all Malossi 172 parts on it. Although he did put a PM head on it. Now I need a new cylinder and piston. Does anyone know where the best deal on a new kit is? Also, since Im not going anywhere on it for now, is there any thing I should do besides new engine? Its already fast as shit but is case matching, porting gonna make a difference? PM won't send any Malossi parts to the US for some reason.

It already has a Malossi crank, could it have been damaged?
