17.5mm carb

    hello all i was just wandering if i was to get a 17.5mm carb for my aerox and take off my 12.5 mm carb will i go any quicker and also how hard are these to fit? plus would this work better with my uprated reeds?

    Your bike will perform a lot better with a 17.5 carb and new reeds will help. They are easy to fit but you may have to play about with the jetting dependant on whether your bike is a 70cc or youve fitted a sports exhaust.
    Have a look at the Pedparts blog, theres a lot of info there about the Aerox. The first thing which you should change is the variator.

    i have got a stage 6 variator and a leo vince tt and uprated reeds but it is still a 50

    That's good, the bike will run a lot stronger at low revs and have a bit more power at higher revs. have a look at the Pedparts blog it shows a comparison chart

    Seems like a no-namer kit! I would defo save and go for a branded sports kit (Malossi Sport). When the whole engine is at stake never go cheap.

    You will more than likely need that 17.5mm carb with whatever 70cc you choose.
