125cc TGB 204 classic

Hi there I have a tgb 125cc 204 classic and I come off it in Trafford park and it was still running fine I wen tto start it yesterday but it would only reach 40 mph when I could get between 60-70 MPH I have cleaned the carb and spark plug but will only reach 40 mph, please if any1 has any idea's please I will be so greatful, as I have work at 12AM tonight like I said please if any1 has any idea's please say I would be so greatful thankyou steven france


P.S does start up fine and starts to ride fine just don't go above 40 mph

 

Bikes can go abit funny when they've been dropped, could be a fuel problem where the engine isn't getting enough fuel, if it's running fine apart from only doing 40 that's about all I can think of

 

it is running fine it set's off fine, it wants to do more but its like something is restricting it so how even though I have cleaned the carb so I haven't got a clue what it could be, plus it dropped all of its fuel but bought some more and it hasn't dropped it so far hope this has helped you think of something but thankyou for the reply I am great thankyou again steven france

 

or could it be that my scooter isn't producing enough spark to allow for more speed ?????

 

I have found the problem my carb wont let any fuel in any ideas on how to get the flow going again ????

 

Hiya buddy did you sort your bike i also have a 204 classic a 2007 model and am having problems hits 50mph and doesn't wanna go any quicker
