As it says in the title.
125c chinese scoot is really heavy on fuel. Filled it up yesterday, done approx 10 miles and its nearly empty.
Every junction i stop at it cuts out as soon as i throttle up. But occasionaly going up hill it will cut out.
Also when scoot is de-excelerting it backfires.
    All help much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

You must have a fuel leak somewhere.
Backfire? Dodgy plug, blocked carb, dirty filters, air leak.

Choke sticking on? Vacuum tap faulty letting petrol into inlet manifold? Blocked air filter?

Ok , back from sunny Cornwall now so to get to it!!
Took the scoot apart to have a mess. Cant find any fuel leeks, however I think the choke was stuck. You can here the revs dropping now when the choke disingages. Really hope this was the problem and now fixed. Also the air filter was looking a bit dirty so sorted this outr to.
As for the backfire, there was a small rip in one of the air pipes, sorted. Off to fill it up and monitor the situation over the next few days to see how the fuel consumption is.

Replace your fuel + vacumn pipes!,
On another ped I had/mine looked fine -
but when operating otr pressures caused the
splits due to disintergratiin to open,
If your off down the road, you would'nt neccesarily
notice till it's so bad it'll be pissing petr ol all over your
pants at the lights!. :) .
