125 engine in a 49 frame

    Hey guys. Quick question. If I have say a Gilera Runner 2002 50 and I want to fit a 125 motor(the engine, clutch, carb, exhaust , electrical work, etc.. )Would I have to get a Gilera Runner 125 engine or would some other Piaggio engine fit? Like a zip one?

    Which other scooter engines would fit? Thanks :)

    Just buy a 125 and save yourself a lot of bother!
