So here's my MZ TS125 when I first got it, July 2012 for £200. I felt that it was so ugly that I didn't even want to show my face. Literally about 2 weeks later. after re-painting of quite alot of parts, chopping the back mudguard and pretty much a whole new rear end and pipe, & ofcourse, a good polish, it looked like this: It then got left for a while as my postage stamp number plate was in the post for it and I was figuring out what else to do to it Number plate then arrived and I removed the chain gaitors and re-modelled the chain cover (the speedo drive is in it, otherwise I'd have taken it off completely) and also removed the fork gaitors as they were split in places and fairly fugly. Replaced the clutch road as it was shagged and had fused with the ball bearing... What even? Then put on an Amal throttle and I also decided to go abit crazy and stick a K&N air filter on it, and have it sticking out the side panel, yeee . Then I dropped the tank about an inch as it was tooooo high. Oh I also lost the side panel tool box cover but found it again after a car had gone over it, beat it back into shape and fixed it up with some hinges, just couldn't be bothered faffing to put it back on, still isn't on now And this is where it stands today, After putting on new headlamp brackets and clip on bars, and the rev counter off my dads old race tuned Supa 5. The front brake isn't on because my dad has it at work, modifying it as TS brakes are renowned for being absolute shit, I'll update with a pic when it's finished. It's abit dirty as I've just this minute finished putting on the bars, I'd say the bike is about 2 thrids of the way finished. Next I'd like a humped back seat and some rear sets Overall the bike has cost me just the £200 that I bought it for. As I had all the parts hid away in our sheds Update: the brake is now finished. The standard drum: (lever arm on the inside, too short to get good leverage for braking) Modified: (newly built lever arm, put on the outside)
looks good, i miss my suzuki now, cafe racers are such an in thing now. what pipe is that? is it a gibson?
