125 and 180 variator, how to tell them apart?

how can i tell the differences between a 125 and a 180 variator? wen i brought my bike there was 3 in boxes of spares and just wanna know wot ones they are.

also why is the 180 one better?

ramp angles are different.

just need to relocate a washer for the 180

 

in the link you posted it says the 180 variator doesnt have thread in the 3 little holes?

yeah is just for that little backing plate.

dont need to be on !

 

doesnt that little plate hepl hold it together wen removing/fitting tho lol?
wont all the rollers fall out wen you try fitting it?
