    Hi,

As per project section i've got a Yamaha BW50 with the vertical engine.

Its currently a 70cc on a sport kit with exhaust/big carb etc.

Its a definately quicker than standard but with the exhaust and cone filter its MEGA loud, stupidly so in fact (so i've been told).

Being an old boy (30) this isn't really to my liking so what i'm wanting to do is drop in an aerox 100 engine i've got sitting in the garage.

I know they aren't great for tuning but tbh an almost standard 100cc will be as quick as the AC 70cc, be quieter and be a better commuter (good as i'd like to occassionally ride it the 15 miles to work next year).

So i've got the engine but i'm wondering about the wiring?

Will i need the 100cc CDI or will the 50cc one work?
Likewise the loom - will i need the 100cc loom as well?

    Any other thoughts/info appreciated...

    Thanks in advance!

Really is a terrible idea. 100cc engines are pants and it's a lot of work for no resale value at all.

My advice would be to either fit an air box back on and possibly drill a couple of holes in it to aid air flow/fit an aftermarket air box and think about repacking your exhaust if it's old and done quite a few miles. Otherwise buy a 125 4 stroke or something of the sort if you really want a commuter as they are made for it.

Anyway you will need the 100 cdi, coil and the 100cc loom.
