I'm new to the forum and just went to pick up my ped before. It's an '05 Speedfight 2, with 2.5k miles on the clock, which I got for £180.

I'm not gunna lie, it does need a few things done to it like:
    -New rear brake lever
    -Fill/smooth panels
    -Clock surround re-fitted
    -New battery

Thats all I can think of for now, not gunna go mad on it because dont have much money to spend on it, the plan is to tidy it up and make it a good commuter :)

Few pics from when I got it home

Any ideas are more than welcome, I know it needs a clean ;)

Got some pics of the damage, doesn't look too bad on pictures but some are quite deep, wondering whether to have a go at filling and smoothing them myself and then spraying them, or whether just to bite the bullet and buy new ones when I've got a bit more money....

Also found out I have a Technigas exhaust and braided front brake lines, although no pics of the brake lines:

Got a set of engine cases if you want them lol. Don't like speedfights as of what mine did to me. But do like the body kit. good luck with the project.

No thanks matey, just gunna keep it simple, less to go wrong that way, the only time the engines gunna be unbolted under my ownership (hopefully!) is when I get the new piston and rings :)

By the way, what did yours do to you if you don't mind me asking? :)

Not updated this in ageeeees! Well long story short, the pug got killed by a puddle and is now having a full top end rebuild, which may then lead to it being sold, or I may keep it if I get my old job back :) will keep you updated!

Today I've smoked the indicators, which IMO makes it look so much better, also spraying black the chrome surround (not the bit that the light reflects off) on the awful lexus style tail light
