04 aerox project from australia :) update pics 05/08

hey all im shannon from australia also known as slim . i just thought i would introduce myself and tell yous a little about my bike .

its a yellow yamaha 04 aerox .

it was stock standard when i got it and i put a hand/made zx pipe on it and rollers for better takeoff but then the bug bit me

so now it has a carbon fibre doppler stem
protaper bars
koso guage
carbon bibre brake leavers
carbon fibre furl cap
chrome kick start
dopper chrome rear shock with black ends
it has 21mm dell carb
70cc mhr rep malossi kit
malossi reed block
carbon fibre reed pettles
4.9 rollers
malossi air pod
malossi delta adjustable clutch
malossi variator
malosso belt
lexus style clear taillight
led front indicators

now the bike is in the paint shop getting a full respray . its getting done in a bright silver undercoat . then candy apple lime green with pine lime flake over the top.

and waiting for my stage 6 280mm os disc and 4 pot calliper to turn up

may be some other bits and peices i have forgotten but yous get the idea ill try add some before and after pics and thanks for looking

ps these pics are before done alot of the stuff to bike so i will take some new ones when getb it back

ummm theres a few kicking around nothing as extreme as mine where i live maybe just a exhaust thats about it but in a few other places in aus there pretty full on done up i think a fella on here wax hes in aus .but plenty done up in brisbane, gold coast , ect

i get my bike back in a week so will be able to take plenty of pics to share .

still waiting on the 280mm os stage 6 disc and 4 pot calliper to turn up the only problem is with my koso guage the speedo is used with a sencer and a magnet . i dont know where the magnets will go on the os disc may have to glue them on it ??????

as i said when get bike back will share heaps of pics

thanks for your reply . cause4 the paints kandy lime green it needs a bright silver base coat . . it got given a few coats in peices to cover all the silver then it was all put together . because its a kandy paint and has the flake its a little harder to paint so easyer together so the paint comes out all even and comes out the same . not to much on 1 pannel and more on another that way it all matches .

its abit hard to explain im not a painter but thats what the painter told me . hes a painter so im guessing he knows what hes doin lol

its not a matter of how many magnets to fit its a matter of how many you want to fit isn't it..doesn't each magnet just make it more accurate if i remember correctly

i think the more magnets the better that way if the magnet may just miss the sencer may not read properly

bikes looking nice but as said above mirrors dont look good on renthals or aybe some smaller mirrors would look nice like the f1 style ones

yeh no it deff needs smaller mirrors totally agree but everything i buy i have to buy from the uk or america or germany ect and im in australia no one here sells harly anything for them here theres a couple shops sells some performance parts not much .

check out scooter shack or some other places like that, if you go to the links page on the opening page of this site there is a list and links to many parts suppliers around the world!!

some bad new went to the servo to see how much air is in the doppler shock cause they say for street use 5 pound and race 10 well i went to check and the air hose blew the guts out of the doppler schock

so now have to order new one and will be about a month untill i get it
