£800 insurance quote for 125cc scooter!?

    Passed my CBT two months ago and looking to get a brand new piaggio liberty 125cc. I was shocked to see the insurance quote on the scooter.
    I'm 32 years old, been driving for 14 years.
    I looked on comparison sites only.
    Is this the ball park figure expected from a new rider?

    Very dependent on your location as well of course, plus your car no claims wont count towards the scooter
