I have Malossi cast iron kit and its been fantastic , i give a thumbs up to it ....... variator would be a suggestion .... get a bore kit though ;)

i wouldnt try neat petrol matey , not worth it. take off ur carb and give it a clean, and ur filter. Might need an exhaust de coke
