Well done a bit more on the Zip over the last 6 months, not much to show for it but mainly striping the engine and frame and cleaning and sorting...
Nice to see some more 4t engines being tuned up :), did mine a few years ago to 80cc now I'm rebuilding it again with more upgrades :D
for a 50 it should be seening 30-35mph on a flat should be more than doable, make sure your CDI has been cut propper, even when its derestricited...

Don't use additive, remove the old fuel and take to you council tip there is usually a place at most to dispose of it check your council waste tip...
A gear kit would make a diffrence I haven't fitted a gear up on mine although I do have below..... Malossi power cam and a good port and polish...

do a manual choke conversion, the AC on these are vague once there past there best even disconnecting them doesn't zero them out so the choke can...
you don't need a choke on a 50?!? I think you will find you do! If your auto choke is causing your engine to stall get a replacement there cheap...
Adjust the Idle screw, it's quite normal to need to tweak it occasionally to get them to tick over nicely although the HiPer4 engines tend not to...
