Have you checked there isn't any wires shorting to earth, although that would probably blow the fuse, but I've seen stranger things. Rob
I removed the outlet pipe at the carb end with the engine running and nothing came out
The oil pump on my Ice has stopped pumping, has anyone stripped and repaired one of these or do I just replace it? It bleeds OK from the screw but...
Try disconnecting both the vacuum pipe and the fuel pipe from the carb, if you suck hard enough on the vacuum pipe you should get fuel coming out...
If you check the shaft where it runs inside the seal it's likely the surface will be eaten away with rust and/or wear. Cheers Rob

On your Zip, it could be the starter motor or bendix on the way out, or possibly the battery going flat can cause a rattly sound. Be careful...
