Took mine off, soldered and crushed it smoothed off the top and madesure there was no leak
There's a hose from the top of the tank for breathing, I'd give that a check make sure it isn't blocked
Can scooters provide enough power for a hid kit? Also have you fitted a wiper to the lense?

[IMG] ive got that one off of a piaggio zip i think needs a mount making though otherwise it rubs on the wheel and its a bastard to get on with...
check your fuel hoses are connected correctly and arent leaking, try putting some more petrol in and see were its leaking from
the new belt will be thicker because the old belts been worn and the rollers being shabby are most probably the reason its not performing well
