i had the same problem with my aerox but cleaning the bowl and jet's fixed it. make sure the bit where the jet's screw in to are not blocked up as...
will i need to up jet the carb with that?

maybe your clutch is engaging before the rev's pic up. have a look at look at your clutch spring's
just took off the carb and the bowl was full of gunk and the jet's was blocked right up so i cleaned it all out and put it all back and she...
