got it working now it was the choke that was mashed up
yeh my choke needle snapped off the other day so it shud be because of that. i tried to superglue it back on but dnt know if it did the trick
so basically an auto 1 is better for a project and manual for personal use.

when it does start it's a dream, rides perfect, idles well and the revs are all good. when i turn it off and start it back up after it still...

nah i bought the bike like that just noticed it when i was fitting the speedo drive on. i hope it passes a mot with cable ties though..

i made a line in the middle of the head and tried use a flat screw driver to take it off but no luck co im just gonna slice the whole head off...
Re: 25mm carb yeh that big screw is the idle screw turn it out slowly and it should be better :)
its completely rounded theres no thread left its almost a perfect circle lol

basically i got a gilera runner 50 and there is one engine bolt rounded off any ideas of how to get it off cos i need to change the contrast...
haynes manual are decent if your a beginner it shows you how to do everything and has got pics
ive seen alot of them 125 conversions their ringers tbh.. you gotta go through a load of hassle to get it through a mot and its a bodge and flimsy...
