hey, me and my uncle took apart my carb yesterday due to it not running right, found metal in floatbowl. turns out to be one of the reed valve...
im not sure what the size is exactly but im preety sure its the same as the old shape runner
my gilera runner, (basicly same piaggio engine) is a 2006, has tha standard pipe on it, derestricted along with the variator like yours, i get 50...

you say all this asif its well and dandy but ugrading to a 70cc kit a raggin it to shit means the bottom end cant handle it the your bike blows...

it goes 50 already, need more speed, ive been told the inlet manifold resricts it so i bought a new one. gunna get doppler s3r :)

yes i have removed the resenator pipe, and the variator spacer, it now sits at 50mph just aint dont the manifold yet but i have one ready to be fitted
ive been told there is no need to change the carb, they are designed to run derestricted so they just put a tiny diameter opening on the manifold...
no, just the manifold rubber, mouth is bigger
