Are the dashboard panels (light switch, indicator panel) from an 08/09 model zip the same as on the earlier models (2001,02 etc)? I have a zip 50...

The cylinder could do with a good clean as there is some rust outside and inside (where the piston moves). How would i go about removing this?...
