Ok...is it possible the coil has packed up, does it spark? Cdi? Sounds ignition related, the vapour is unburnt petrol.
Any damage to the coil?

your a hero, I could only make the outlet bigger, but that was enough, now it has a nice crackle to it, superb. :D
Now that sounds like a plan, I might get my mate to take my exhaust to work cut it in half take out the plates and weld it back up....hmmm.
