If i switch my bike on and dont rev it for about 5 - 10 seconds a little bit if i leave it it will shortly after cut out. :S anyone know why

I painted my pipe at 6 has been drying since 7 and am leaving it over night in shed when i fit it tmoz do i have to leave it on idle or anything ?
