Try resetting your mixture screw if it's running too lean, if that doesn't work then look for possible air leaks. So many people on here don't set...
That wouldn't affect your spark though? Sounds like your coil is on its way out.

Should be a stinger all the way through it (pipe with loads of holes in it) This should be wrapped in fibre glass wadding. Take SOME of that out...

Yeah the diameter of the expansion chamber is too small for the cc of the engine, so it's making it lose power :)
Sounds like it just needs properly setting up and an unrestricted CDI fitting, if you can find one.
