Use jump leads on a second good battery, see if that works as it could be battery.
The std CDI will and has alway's worked fine on a 50/70cc 's, the cdi has a rev limiter to stop over revving the engine, having used a "unlimited"...

Water pump seal worn, need's replacing, thermostat pipe re-sealing, oil in the airbox is quite normal for a 4t engine, is it high mileage ?check...
If it is the latest efi model then your not going to do hardly anything to it, a barrel /ecu kit maybe but no pipe clutch or variator will help to...
Yes what Damjam said, it's the torque pulley not twisting as it should but just fit a new clutch unit complete !
Check the rear clutch, if it's worn it will take out drive belt, cheap enough to replace the whole transmission.

It will be like many Chinese scooters, same bike with a different badge. Don't spend lots of money on it as it's not worth a great deal at all !

I used two 10mm ish size nuts, it's not the diameter it's sideways spacing that's needed.
What size headlight bulb is it using? 35 or 65w ? Using the lower wattage will help with the charging system. Check voltage when you get it running.

Wiring loom , engine mounting is all different, just easy to repair or get a second hand 50 engine.
