On my Vespa LX I’ve just fitted a 25mm taller rear shock which saves me getting a spacer.
My reason is my aftermarket exhaust hits my frame.

In my experience it so does alter stuff with the MALOSSI red, mine went in, couldn’t tune it took it back out on solid advice from Pedparts...
As a side note you really really don’t need a high flow air filter on that set up.
It sounds like a very similar set up to my LX50 before I went...
I tried this at the weekend, up to a 72 was worse, down to 68 better but still awful, 66 worse.
I doubt starting from a 71 that a 69 or 70 would...
