Typhoon 50

Postby hogesar » Sun 07 Mar, 2010 12:04 am

Well, all i can say is i've been proved wrong on several things already regarding this bike.

It's an R reg Typhoon 50, therefore 1997, something i was very wary of. All i can say is, age in some respects does not mean a thing. This thing rides better than a 2005 Aerox of my mates, in my opinion.

Essentially paid £300 for it, with a full Years MOT and many brand new parts fitted a week before i bought it. (speedo cable, battery, coil...can't remember the list). Came with a Techno sports exhaust (nothing special but i am personally a fan of the noise and is good enough for my use). Also , unlike many, i like the fat old tyres. Reason being, i live in the countryside...down a bumpy, pot hole filled road full of crap from the fields....especially this time of the year...so yeah.

Plastics are in crap condition, and this project is practically a cosmetic one. Better weather and i'm going to undertake in my first full respray with the help of the father! Nothing extravagent, just clean, tidy and hopefully professional.

Anyway, here's a picture of what i've ran on about for about a page...i'll upload some more in the morning.
