wats this worth do u recon true

some one has offered me an 70cc engine for my zip
malossi 70 bore kit with 17.5 derort carb malossi sponge in airbox and endy power pipe
and loom

recons around 12bhp
and had 70 out
front happy
dont no rollers
still on standard crank and bearings and seals

but head gasket gone

£150ish tops, I'd pay but then I'm used to getting real bargains so even that seems a little steep for me...

I got an engine with no-named 70 kit, tecnigas exhaust, 17.5mm carb and malossi sponge in airbox for £60 mate.

Yes it wont be 12bhp but you can get 70mph, i have piaggip zip air cooled, athena 70cc big bore kit, gianelli exhaust, 21mm carb and mate clocked me doing 75mph and im running on standard crank n standard gears bit of a risk

If anyone wants any proof that you cant get 70mph on standard crank or gears let me know and ill get mate to record me and follow in car and see speed

i have standard gear kit on my zip and have over 70mph i know its not health for the gear kit or crank and dynos never tell the exact speed anyways

dynos would generally over read the true speed due to no air resistance etc. so a dyno speed of 90 on a ped would likely be 75-80 unless the bike was so torquey it could push to 90 due to incorrect gearing.

saying that tho my little brother ped did show 65 on the clocks which would be around 58 like jonny said

stock 50, but regardless of the hill he couldnt get past that sort of figure. was stock tho bar derestriction

oo ye stock 50s will only got around 50mph wen derestricted but as we was discussing early on its 70cc engine he can get which he recons is 12bhp which i doubt it be 12 but will easy do 70mph as it malossi 70s

hmm i think 60 is acheivable maybe more, but as said 12bhp at the wheel isnt likely maybe at the flywhel but even still. a 70 kit just gets you to the bikes top end quicker and adds a little as it revs higher, but it dosent add much top end.

either way this is way off topic so sorry lol i have no idea what an engines worth in that state sorry

yes you can get over 70 on a zip. I am going to prove you wrong and get video evidence just remember your running on 17.5mm Carb

u cant my mate had a standard one with jus a pipe ad his did 61 clocked by a copper and that was a half mile hill ..and full throttle ...but if it could go faster it would of kept going cos he was only hlf way down the hill

i was always led to belive that standard piaggio gearing is good for like 60 genuine miles an hour ........ your clock would probably be showing 75 thought lol
