if my new crank is in my engine by saturday...i think if i work my ass off ill be able to have all my 50 bore etc from my current engine onto this one.
instead of my 70 setup which i dont have yet.

anyone know how long new crank needs to be run in for?
because i may have to be riding down southend doing 40 :p

    dont need running in.

just take it steady when first done listen for any dodgy noises.

once you know its ok its ready for its arse kicking.

cranks dont require running in ;)

running in relates to iron barrel kits :D

    wehay....
    crank fitted.....works beautifully ;)
encoutnered plenty of problems along the way but came out good in the end.
one of the problems was lack of thread in all of the transmission casing bolts
so basically...it's all up and running...although im running standard setup and pm tuning crank.

oh it has been a long time!

    anyway....
lack of funds meant that it hasn't progressed much.
although i have done a lot of work, it doesn't really show.

anyone want to see my spares? :w00t:

bores belts clutches, variator, rollers, etc...

the bike im going to rebuild and get back onto the road:

and the ped as it stands at the moment:

cat and dog managed to make an appearance in the pics also as they always do!

the full ped you can see, is now off the road, as my CBT has run out, which gives me a good chance and reason to start doing it up, as will save money from insurance and petrol and oil.

i've started removing the engine from the full ped, which will go back onto the good frame in the pics, where it originally came from.

i know you all hate peugeots, but i'm stil going forward with it....although you never know i may get persuaded with a piggy lump if one comes along cheap.

i decided it would be too much hassle and money to build up from a pair of cases, as so much would need doing.
    UPDATE:
    i am shocked :wtf:
i rebuilt this spares bike from the frame in 2 days, including refurbing a lot of the bits, however my main objective was to have it running.
so basically, its running....but....put my crappy pug engine onto the donor frame.....and i cant believe how quick it is comapred to when it was on the other frame :wtf: :punk:
im really confused....all the problems such as the rumbling and not going anywhere from take off has just vanished and the front wheel pops up at the touch of the throttle, aswell as lots of wheelspin....just from changing the frame...although i changed all the electrics aswell inc the cdi so may have been a faulty cdi before...but im sure this is one of the fastest 50's around my area.
    it's totally standard aswel!
i'll upload a video soon, its on youtube, but not finished uploading yet.
anyone have any ideas why it's suddenly gone from really crap...to actually pretty fast...i cant belive its a pug :punk:  :msn1:

    anyway, heres how she stands
    [IMG]

    cheers
    luke.
and dont laugh because i said it's a fast pug :p

    edit: heres the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaRPDMz_kk4

i'll get a better vid as soon as i fit the rear brake tomorrow, i nearly fell off twice in that vid :emb: both at the start, one when the back comes out and the other at the bottom as the front locked up :D
