    I just came across this, thought others might like it too, commentary is a bit odd at times but it increased my knowledge of scooter engines by about 900% lol.

    Interesting. For a start it's the second time I've seen a crank put in a Piaggio engine with the bearings in the case first...... Can't do that with a Minarelli.
    Secondly - I use sealant on the gasket & a dabble of the fingers on all the O rings - as well as the exhaust collector.
    Three: hey could have epoxied the case & dremmeled a decent admission - getting rid of all the bumps & humps in there !
    Lastly - I wish my garage was as clean as their workshop. Although I do bow my head in reverence when I make my motors at the end of each step. No subdued red lights though.........:rolleyes:
